Monoprint with drypoint
I wanted to create an image that was menacing and yet had a calming presence. In this class I mainly focused on creating textures and getting used to the new medium. (I haven't worked with monoprint before) I really had fun with some elemental studies. ^_^
This was *slightly* touched up in photoshop. Just heightening the contrast and adding a couple shadows because it didn't scan well

Great use of texturing to convey a mood.
The blue is cold enough to be menacing and electric enough to be interesting. For monoprint it's quite expressive.
